These terms govern the use of this website and the basis on which Alpha Intel accepts instructions. Individual engagements are additionally governed by a written mandate agreed with the client.

Alpha Intel accepts instructions at its discretion. Every prospective engagement is assessed for lawfulness, proportionality and conflict of interest before it is accepted.
We decline any mandate that requires unlawful methods, that appears intended to harass or intimidate, or where the purpose stated cannot be reconciled with the enquiry requested.
Each engagement is defined in writing: the question to be answered, what is in scope, what is excluded, the jurisdictions involved and the form of the deliverable. Work outside that scope requires a further written instruction.
Engagements rely on public records, documentary confirmation, institutional verification and lawful discreet enquiry.
Reports separate verified fact from unconfirmed indication, cite the basis for each material finding, and state the limits of the enquiry. Where something could not be established, we say so rather than infer.
A report is prepared for a named recipient and a single stated purpose.
The client confirms that it has a legitimate interest in the enquiry, that information provided to us is accurate and lawfully held, and that findings will be used only for the purpose stated in the mandate.
Fees depend on scope, complexity, jurisdictions, research depth and field requirements. An indicative fee is confirmed after a confidential consultation and before work begins. Any material change in scope is quoted before it is undertaken.
The existence of an engagement, the identity of the client and the content of any report are treated as confidential. Client matters are never published, excerpted or referenced without explicit written authorisation.
Findings reflect information available and verifiable at the time of the enquiry. Alpha Intel does not guarantee that all relevant information exists in accessible record, and does not accept liability for decisions taken by the client on the basis of a report.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
