Matrimonial Due Diligence

Verify Before You Commit.

Confidential matrimonial investigation and pre-marital verification for families across India, including NRI matters — conducted discreetly, lawfully and without the subject's knowledge.

A marriage is a decision made on information.

Biodata, introductions and a few meetings carry a family only so far. Almost everything of consequence — occupation, income, previous relationships, family standing, conduct — is taken on trust.

Matrimonial due diligence replaces that assumption with verified fact. Alpha Intel conducts the enquiry a matrimonial investigation agency would undertake, to the evidentiary standard of a private intelligence firm: independently corroborated, clearly sourced and free of speculation.

The purpose is not suspicion. It is to allow a family to proceed — or reconsider — with clarity rather than doubt.

Questions

Frequently asked.

What is matrimonial due diligence?

Matrimonial due diligence is the structured verification of a prospective spouse and their family before marriage. It confirms identity, education, occupation, income sources, family circumstances, marital history and reputation, and identifies discrepancies between what has been disclosed and what can be verified.

What should I verify before marriage?

At minimum: identity and address, education and qualifications, current employment or business and its standing, declared income sources, previous marriage or engagement history, litigation or police records, health disclosures where volunteered, and family standing and reputation.

How is this different from a matrimonial detective agency?

The categories of enquiry overlap. The difference is method and output: every material fact is corroborated independently, verified information is separated from inference, and you receive a written assessment you can act on rather than photographs and assertions.

Can you handle NRI matrimonial verification?

Yes. NRI matters typically require verification in both India and the country of residence — immigration or visa status as disclosed, employment, address, marital history and financial standing — using lawful sources in each jurisdiction.

Will the other family know an enquiry is taking place?

No. Enquiries are conducted discreetly and are designed to leave no footprint with the subject or their family. Client identity is never disclosed.

What if the enquiry finds nothing adverse?

That is a valid and common outcome, and a useful one. A clean, corroborated verification allows a family to proceed with confidence rather than lingering doubt.

How long does matrimonial due diligence take?

A single-city verification is usually complete within seven to twelve working days. Multi-location or NRI matters take longer, and an indicative timeline is agreed before work begins.
